Back in march, The Art of Frank, Inc. posted a blog regarding it’s work at the… Brooklyn small business and procurement expo 2011. you can view this article by clicking this: Link
In addition to the signage, title/logo design, and the overall graphic campaign for the event, we designed the Program guide, featured here:

We were asked to design the main logo for the event pictured here:
It is a representation of the iconic structures representing NYC. The predominant symbol being the statue of liberty’s torch, leading the way through the Brooklyn bridge, a symbol of hope, lighting the path for small businesses during these challenging times. This logo appeared on advertisements for the expo, even on a local Queens, NY spanish language newspaper, “La Voz” (the voice) pictured here:

The advertisement was on the back of the newspaper

Excellent work — particularly that cover image. It comes together powerfully. I raise my torch to you!
Thanks for the kind comments, Mike! It’s too bad they didn’t use that illustrated logo as their primary logo but hey it appeared on a newspaper and I enjoyed the symbolism behind it. Thanks for the raised torch as well, I raise mine to you as well but I ain’t passing it anytime soon! all the best
